It's not unusual for me to go into my camera roll on my phone and find 20+ selfies of Kensley! The girl loves the camera! These are a few that I've found recently.

The weather has been so hot lately that I thought the Splash pad would be a great outing however we are pretty sure we have molars coming in so there was more sitting than splashing but fun nonetheless! If nothing else I at least got to see Ashley;). What started out as a project for the garage is slowly turning into some extra money! Jacob and I made this Cleveland Browns pallet art for our garage. The more people that complimented it and asked about it the more we thought that we might be onto something! So against all odds I created a Facebook page-swore I would never cave in and get one-but it's been worth it! In just a few days we have several orders. Now we are working on creating more choices and duplicates of the most popular ones. We are looking into renting a space at the Farmers Market on the square or at different craft fairs-whatever gets our savings built up faster and gets us into a bigger house is worth the time investigating! Here is the link to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cre8tivepallets And here are the few options we have as of now:) My aunt Pam and Uncle Jim drove up to visit and brought along my other aunt Nan and Lena...most importantly tho they brought my Grandpa Truman with them! I have always been close to him and my grandma and hold them in a special place in my heart. Since moving to Medina I haven't gotten many opportunities to see them and especially since having the babies it's hard to get home(over a 2 hour drive). We lost my grandma last October and it's been hard on our entire family-her and my grandpa are what holds us all together...their house is where my cousin and I became inseperably, where most of us fell in love with apple dumplings and where every single one of us feel welcome and accepted just as we are! They truly are amazing people so to have gotten to share a day with my grandpa that would have never been possible without my aunts and uncle is priceless and something I will forever be thankful for!! Everyone was a little shy at first but it didn't take them long to warm up:). We still talk about Jim helping us touch the ceiling and grandpa's purple cane! (Pictures up soon!) At this stage we have got to stay busy or we have 5 very wound up toddlers. The zoo is almost a weekly visit for us since we have the pass this year. This visit we made it through the bottom layer of the rainforest and of course the elephants and giraffes! Mariah and Brandon stopped over the other night to ask ALL the kids to be a part of their wedding!!:). While I am overly excited I'm equally as nervous-who knows what's going to happen down that aisle! Swimming is quickly becoming a favorite activity of ours! With the floaties Kathy got them they are able to "swim" pretty independently as long as we are nearby. They are also becoming pretty attached to Kathy's neice Ruby and nephew Jonathan. Lexi's cousin is visiting this week and you would never know that they live 3 hours apart except for a week or two a year! These two have been close no matter the distance between them. When they get back together its like no time has passed since they last saw each other. I had a lot of fun with them today taking pictures:) We have been so busy lately with friends and family celebrating the Fourth of July. The weekend started with Jacobs family coming over for a cookout and fireworks but that's a different story for a different post since those pictures are on my actual camera;) Yesterday we took the kids to the parade in Brunswick with a family friend of ours. Their favorite part by far was getting all the candy. I wish I could have captured Jade's face when a fresh batch of tootsie rolls came flying her direction-I'm not sure my heart has ever been happier than it was watching her. The boys couldn't shove it in their mouths fast enough...they would have a piece in their mouth and if new candy was thrown at them they spit out what they had in order to put the new piece in! Hahahaha. When we have moments like this I wish I was able to freeze time and just enjoy it a little longer! |
