We decided it would be nice if each of the "babies" got a day out to theirselves once in awhile...today was Leighton's turn with Tina. They went to the library and had lunch at Wendy's. I'm not sure who had more fun tho-Tina, leighton, Mariah, who met them there, or Brittany who was fed a frosty over face time! Haha...for those of you don't know Leighton has a little crush on Brittany and loves him some Mariah time too!
Today was the perfect fall day to play in the leaves!
Kensley is still recovering from her surgery so she doesn't get down and play rough just yet...all is healing well but you can tell she is a little hesitant at times.
Katie made homemade Playdough yesterday and the pictures she sent were too cute! It's a great feeling knowing how much fun they have while we are at work!
My favorite time of day right now is definetly bath time..they LOVE playing in the tub. We turn on Toddler radio on Pandora and have a great time. The Hokey Pokey came on tonight and they all started turning around and clapping! Too cute!
The Browns/Steelers game has been tradition since Jacob and I have been together. We tailgated with friends from school while the babies spent a day out at church with Katie:).
Kensley has surgery scheduled for October 22 to remove the tag in her throat. In order to develop a plan for surgery she had to get an MRI. She was such a good sport through the entire procedure-especially because she had to wait an extra 2 hours before she was taken back and wasn't able to eat breakfast before the anesthesia!
Its hard to believe they are turing 2 years old already--in some ways it feels like just yesterday we were driving to the NICU to see them everyday and in some ways it feels like 20 years.
I was a little disappointed that we didn't get a good group picture of everyone but its hard to get them sitting still at the same time let alone sitting still AND looking in the same direction!
My friend Kelsey played Minnie mouse and while not everyone warmed up to her it was still cute to see their reactions.
