Its been a busy week for both us and the kids! Monday Leighton had to get a CAT scan done on his ear. While I was at the doctors office with him Katie and Linda took the others to the zoo. Leighton's appointment was at Fairview...just making the drive to that hospital was extremely emotional for me. That place is such a large part of our lives and soooo many people there helped get us to where we are today! I fought back tears just pulling into the parking garage! Lucikly Leighton was very cooperative for his appointment and we were Ina ms out of there pretty quick. We decided to spend some one-on-one time at the park since we never get to do that! I loved getting to enjoy my time with him and devote every minute to whatever he wanted to do! The kids also went with Katie and her dad to their campground for an afternoon. We officially put our house up for sale yesterday and within a matter of 12 hours we had already accepted an offer! While we were getting the house ready to show and while people were going through it Katie and Tina took the kids to Chipotle, the metropark, and to a cupcake shoppe! Once we met up with them we headed over to Jon and Nancy's to kill some time until the showing were over.
they must have went on like this for an hour-making musically videos and then dying laughing watching hem back!
when Katie and Nancy are here together it's like a typical day at preschool-always learning and exploring!
Soooo Jade decided she wanted to pretend to be Tina and cut Kensley hair...Kensley has the cutest, most perfectly straight and beautiful hair so of course it was her who volunteered for the cut! It was too late by the time Brooke came running for me telling me what was happening as they hid on the stairs. Luckily Jade started in the back and never had time to work her way around to the front of Kensley's hair and even more lucky than that is that Tina was able to make her hair look absolutely adorable!!!
These are the pallet art pieces that Jacob and I created for our second event with Maple side farms in Brunswick. We are so excited to get to do this again! They are doing all registration through their website and you can find the link on their Facebook page.
If you've talked to me at all in the past two weeks you probably know I haven't slept much because Jade hasn't slept much. She would wake up several times a night complaining that her feet or legs hurt...not even Tylenol or a full belly could keep her resting for a full night. Well tonight Amy noticed that it must have definitely been a growth spurt...she is just as tall as everyone else now!
