May 18, 2012 : 10 weeks
Today we spent over 3 hours at our doctor's appointment! First, we got to see all five of our little one's hearts beating strong. Their heartbeats ranged from the 160's to the 180's...all of which is right on target. They each measured to be about 3 centimeters long. It's hard to believe they are so tiny yet are developing so many different features and parts.
The ultra-sound technician took her time and did a great job of explaining what everything was in the pictures. Baby E already seems to be the one to have all the energy! "E" was kicking and moving the entire time we got to see him/her. It was cute enough to bring tears to our eyes when we saw the cute little feet and hands already functioning.
We left with over 20 pictures; our favorite is a glimpse of all five of them together--even if Baby A is hiding. Some of the others are pictured below. I find myself pulling the pictures out often and continuing to be amazed with the amount of blessings we have received!
After the ultrasound, we met with Dr. Shah (one i would highly recommend to anyone in the area). He was very supportive of our decision to continue with the pregnancy of all 5 babies. He was of course concerned about their health and warned us of our risks however realizes that it is ultimately our decision. We could not be happier with our appointments with him.
Our next appointment with Dr. Shah is in four weeks. We look forward to hopefully learning the gender of each of them!
