Not even 5 energetic toddlers like to start their day running...our routine is to chill out for an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while we have a bowl of dry cereal before we get moving! It's just too cute!

Lexi is gone this week at Hiram House and I miss her terribly! Luckily her teacher is nice enough to send me pics each day. Lexi is very fortunate to have a teacher like her-she looks after Lex as if she is her own daughter-we will truly miss her next year! I didn't even get two words into typing the title before I started crying-haha..Lex is enjoying her last few days before officially becoming a middle schooler! They had a field trip to the rec center, helped with landscaping the front of Towslee and had a blast at field day.
I can not tell her enough how proud I am of her. She has grown into a very responsible, beautiful, and brilliant young lady. The future holds great things for her! Lisa DeJong, a photo journalist for the Plain Dealer and Tom Feran, writer for the Plain Dealer, did such an amazing job capturing my favorite holiday of all--Mother's Day! The article and pictures will be one of my favorite things to look back upon--they captured so many of our everyday moments that you don't normally hear about or see.
Check out the article here: http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2014/05/do_not_publish_quintuplets_mak.html#incart_river_default I never have to worry about the babies while I'm at work-the people we have helping us are absolutely amazing! Yesterday Katie built a fort under the kitchen table with them and had a picnic outside:)....best part was that I got pictures throughout the day! And today I got a picture from Mariah of the girls watching out the front door-I love seeing glimpses of their day while I'm away from them. |
