The past two weeks-or maybe more-I'm not sure-I've kinda lost track-have been very tiring with the girls climbing in and out of their cribs, opening and slamming bedroom doors, and just refusing to sleep so needless to say we were very thankful when the toddler beds arrived. Although we are still dealing with them climbing in and out of bed we at least know they are safe getting in and out of these beds. We've had to completely strip their room of everything except the beds basically while they adjust to their new freedom. While it's exhausting having them be cranky from staying up later it's cute watching them interact with one another on the monitor. Then this is what happens during the day from them staying up so late!!

I know I've said it before but moments like this remind me to be grateful for how fortunate we are to have been blessed with this life! The days are long and the work is hard having five toddlers in the house however the rewards are unmeasurable. Katie and Linda walked the kids to Liberty Gardens today. They loved checking out all the flowers-this might have to be a future photo session destination-it's so pretty! Jacob's school had a community event this afternoon and since the kids have been boycotting sleeping we decided to take them all out for the day to Art in the Park. To no one's surprise Brooke was the most social while the others were sure to stay close to us. |
