Lex has been putting a lot of hard hours in for her freshman year of soccer already! I can't believe she is in high school already-really looking forward to watching her play.
Words can not describe the love I have for my Grandpa...he is one of the cutest, sweetest, and most hard working people that I know. The feeling I get when I pull up to their house is something I wish I bottle up and save for later. I remeber how he used to cut my toast in the morning into 6 little squares and the way my grandma always had her large green Tupperware bowl in the counter full of pie dough mix just waiting to be used. I can still see the table set in the evening for breakfast the following morning and my grandmas basket of yarn next to her chair. I remeber watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy in the evening when I would sleep over . My cousin taught me how to french braid there with the help of my grandma, it's where I learned how to sew on those little plastic shapes making squares with my yarn. So many of my fondest memories took place in this home. Just the smell alone instantly takes me back to coloring eggs and sneaking raspberries off their bushes. Going home always feels so good!
How is this even possible?!? Today we packed up our school supplies and backpacks for preschool! They will each be in a separate class and really looking forward to their first day.
Lex went to D.C. with her 8th grade class-what a great opportunity for her! I've never been there so I loved hearing all her stories and looking at all the great pictures she took.
