Days lately have been filled with little free time to blog but lots of milestones and cute moments to share:)!!! We spent one weekend back home (Delphos) visiting family. I have to throw out a huge "Thank You" to my aunt Pam and uncle Jim...they invited us to stay at their house for the night-not something everyone would probably be up for! It was so nice when we got there-they had five pack-n-plays set up for the babies and even a spare room set up for us so that we could sleep as close to normalcy as possible being away from home! My family collected the pack-n-plays and helped her get them set up for us--they truly are amazing people! It was hard for me to leave since I don't get to see them very often-they may have thought I was being short in saying good-byes but I was fighting back tears. I love getting together with everyone and wish I could do it more often. We went home since my nephew Trent had his graduation party and my grandparents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary!! When Jacob and I celebrate that milestone it will be 2081!! haha.... Summer has also been filled with lots of friends and family visiting as well. We are so lucky to have so many people in our lives so willing to help us out! There are days we aren't sure how we would have gotten through without their help. My mom and dad are still coming up to help but not as often since we are off for summer break...I have to tell them they are not allowed to come though--haha...I think my mom deserves a break herself!! Jacob's parents also visit on the weekend giving us a chance to go to the gym together, run errands or get things caught up on around the house. Thank God for friends and family!! We are only days away from crawling I think. They are all rolling and scooting to get around. You can't turn your back on them for a second! They are noticing each other and interacting more as well. While they sit at the table or in bouncies they talk back and forth, laugh at each other, and smile when they catch eye contact from someone else. Things are about to get really crazy around here with 5 babies crawling and talking! With everyone's help we have been able to sneak away some free time. Jacob and I attended a golf outing through school. I chose not to golf and just tag along in the golf cart...I did contribute and make Jacob's golf pants that he is wearing though! We also spent a day in Cedar Point with Lexi and her friend Autumn. We are really proud of the way Lexi has stepped up into the big sister role and wanted to treat her to some time away too! It was a lot of fun however Jacob and I both realized that we are getting too old to be riding roller coasters all day long! After about the third ride we were ready to take a break! On top of the roller coaster pain I had a bad allergy attack from something and my right eye had almost swollen shut within just an hour. Call us crazy but in the midst of everything we have going on we started a project...redoing our kitchen cabinets. A friend of mine from work recently did hers and they looked amazing so naturally I obsessed over them until I started ours!! Below is a picture of the work in progress! Its a huge upgrade from the ugly orange oak look. I can't wait to get it finished and put on the hardware. We have been taking full advantage of the stroller that Foundations donated to us. They absolutely LOVE getting outside and the fresh air. When nothing else works to calm their crankiness we load them all up and go for a walk. Lastly, Jacob's parents brought baby pictures over the weekend of him and my jaw dropped when I saw him at 10 months old. I always thought Giovanni was a spitting image of Jacob but now that I've seen these pictures its pretty obvious both boys look like him! I didn't do any fancy editing but the picture on the left is Jacob and the right is Leighton....unreal!!!
