I didn't think it was cold season yet but we've already been hit with one:(. Brooklynn started with a little cough and runny nose on Monday morning. By Tuesday night she was breathing very heavy and wheezing. She kept us up all night and I was getting more and more nervous as her breathing became heavier and more work like for her. Jacob took work off on Wednesday to get her to the doctor. They said she has a respiratory infection (again...clearly not a doctor so I'm doing my best at remembering). In order to treat that we have to give her breathing treatments of albuterol every 4 hours. On top of that she has an ear infection as well. We're hoping to keep the others from getting it but you know how that goes when they are all sharing toys and stealing each others sippy cups. Being a Big Sister to QuintsEvery one of them LOVE their big sister and now that they can get around they seem to gravitate towards her. If she is on the ground you better believe there is at least two of them on her or near her! Grandpa Became a TrampolineLeighton's favorite thing to do is jump! He will jump until his eyes are closed sleeping...haha...I always thought he would be my calm one but I'm starting to think differently. The kid NEVER stops moving--EVER! I Finally Met the Quads (well 3 of them)If you want to talk about having a hard time getting together with someone let me tell you how hard it is to coordinate schedules with our friends who recently had quadruplets. Three of them are home and one is still in the hospital so between my crazy life and hers it has been hard to get together. Jacob and I were finally able to stop over the other day and I fell in love all over again with the baby stage---not enough to ever have more of my own (hahaha) but they are just adorable!! Its funny how quickly you can forget what it was like when they were only a few months younger.
