We made it to 29 weeks!! One more week to go and I will be very happy and satisfied with how far we made it. Each week brings a new sigh of relief.
My total weight gain is now up to 50 pounds! I am going to really have my work cut out for me to shed this weight although I'm sure the hectic lifestyle will take care of most of it on it's own. My next check up with Dr. Shah is tomorrow morning. I hope to have a date for delivery given tomorrow. I really need something concrete to count towards. I feel myself declining emotionally, physically, and mentally each day- especially in this past week or so. I barely have energy to walk a few doors down to fill my water, I'm not always up for visitors- which is really unusual- and my overall mood just isn't like me. I'm trying to stay positive and make it as long as possible for their health and I really think having a date set would help me.

Keep thinking positive thoughts! You have the right to be moody.. just think of all those hormones going through your body! We are praying for you and the babies. If you need someone to talk to just call me anytime!

Are you planning on breast feeding? Each ounce of breastmilk you pump is 20 calories. Your body knows you have 5 babies, so you will probably be able to pump at least 50 oz. a day, eventually. That's like 3 candy bars worth of calories!

Leann,Ibhave been following your blog for a few weeks now and am completely amazed at what you are going through! You have always been such a strong person... I cannot imagine what you are going through! I can only hope that time goes by quickly in the next few days so you and your family can finally meet the little miracles that are just waiting to meet their mother! Good luck and know that many prayers are being said for you and your babies!!

Congratulations! Each time I hop on here to read your blog, I'm hoping another week has gone by! Seeing that you are at 29 weeks is so exciting! I'm sure you're ready to have those babies out, but I love hearing the good news that you are still pregnant, lol.

Keep up the good work! You can do this! Don't be worried about the weight (like others have said, I know many people who gained that much with 1 baby) and don't feel guilty about how you're feeling. The hormones, stress, physical strain, etc. etc. etc. you are going through is something none of us can imagine. We're all pulling for you!

Hi Leann, I truly enjoy following your blog! I'm so excited for you and your family. Don't worry about gaining weight -- just remember, your weight gain means your babies are growing and that is just awesome. By the way, the nursery is adorable! Real soon all those cribs will be filled with bundles of joy! As I write this I'm laughing at myself because I can't hardly stand the wait just to see pictures of so many babies so I can only imagine how incredibly anxious you are! : ) Hang in there, it won't be long now! Until then, try to get some much needed rest. Praying for a smooth sailing from here on out. Best wishes to you and your family! P.S. I gained 52 lbs with ONE baby! ; )
