Cross one more week off the calendar! To make a long story short, I can not wait to be home, babies are still doing great and I am so sick of hospital food! Haha...
Next week I may be moving rooms. I will still be in the high risk OB wing just one room over. My doctor wants to start doing non-stress tests to monitor the babies however the machines which do that are only equipped to handle two babies. Therefore I need three machines in my room; the room I am in is not big enough nor do I think it has enough plugs! I am really starting to feel like an exception to the norm more and more around here. Jacob came in tonight and I was able to escape my room but only for a half hour- how depressing right??! We went down to the cafeteria and you would have thought he had taken me to a five star restaurant. It was just so nice to be out of my room with him and eating different food. I don't think we had ever had a date at a hospital before! Haha.

Hang in there, Leann. You are a super-mom . . . doing what's right for your little ones. I know you must be getting miserable on many levels, but you are doing a great job getting these babies ready for the outside world. I've had a hospital cafeteria date too. When Mom was so sick . . . . a group of my friends came to the hospital to have dinner with me. That's dedication. You've got a great partner in Jacob. He is going to be an amazing Dad too. Life is quiet here again. Breanne is back teaching in Houston with a fresh crop of Hispanic children. I'm sewing six Halloween costumes to send to her. Last year several of her students didn't have a costume because their families couldn't afford it. Jenna started her second year in college and is so happy there. (She's going to a concert tonight, . . . . I never have to worry about her mixing pleasure with learning?!?!?) Bruce and I are still house shopping. Not much to choose from in this area, but we keep looking. Please keep up the blog and include pictures. I love following your progress and this is a great vehicle. Love to you, Jacob and little Lexi too!! Aunt Diane
